I was gratified by the response to the two special issues of the Family Newsletter in May 2021 (Jayam 100) and June 2021 (Narasimhan). Almost every family member rang up to share his/her feelings after going through all the articles. Santhanam and Usha sent written feedback, which I have published in this Newsletter.
In the last issue, I had quoted Prasad's words to stress on the importance of writing down our memories. After all 'Life is not what one lived, but what one remembers.' So I have decided to restart the Newsletter on a regular basis, every alternate month (odd months - July, September etc.). All readers are requested to send in articles written by them before 10th of the month of publication. I look forward to your articles.
This issue has two sections. The first section contains a family-wise audio-visual presentation of the get-together 12th June 2021. I have also put together a Fun Quiz on the Meet.
The second section is all about memories. I have reproduced twelve articles- all written between 2002 and 2005 and all talking about their younger days. Four articles titled The Early Days are by Kannan (Narasimhan). Four articles titled Down The Memory Lane are by Gopalan. Four articles titled My Musings are by Amritha.
Enjoy the Newsletter and do give a feedback. See you again on 15th September, 2021.
