Feedback on Family Newsletter by Raghu (Sydney)
Dear Partha
I am really lost for words to praise the work carried out by you for my mother's centenary and publishing articles on my brother's demise. The articles written by you on both of them made me shed tears. I have told you many times while chatting and will repeat that your contribution is unparalleled in our family history. The articles written by Aarthi and Harish were also very good. The family song put together by you was very thoughtful. I am going to preserve both the issuescof the Newsletter.
We finished reading the Newsletter at 10.45 PM yesterday. With so much information packed, it was not possible to finish reading in two days. What can we say about the contents? All articles were of a high quality. We started with Usha's articles. Truly unbelievable quality of writing. She delved into the details of every article and commented on it. We all know about the super style of Partha's writing. We then read anna's articles. In fact some of the details he provided was news to me.The amount of struggle he experienced during his school and college days was very sad and we shed tears while reading.
In total contrast Gopalan anna's narrations were very hilarious and we both were continuously bursting out laughing. His description of Chakravarthy Thatha was top class and I could get to know the full details of how he spent his vacation in Sulankurichi. But I felt the fourth article of Gopalan anna was too long and could have been split into three.
Amritha, we then read your four articles. They were very good and informative. You were a bit naughty pinching the two kids Sugavanam and Latha to wake them up.
We then went through Partha's quiz. It was interesting. Finally we went thru Santhanam anna's feedback. The two newsletters about anna and mother were excellent and we enjoyed reading them. I wholeheartedly thank you and Partha for giving such a treat to all of us.
