My Father's Parents - Chakravarthy Iyengar (1880-1966) and Janaki Ammal (1882-1953)

Singaravalli (1900-1930), my father's eldest sister Married to Seshadri Iyengar. They had four sons and three daughters, whose details are in next column.

Srinivasan. my father (1908-1998).

My father was the eldest son. He studied B.A and B.T. from Annamalai University and joined P.S. High School as a teacher in 1939 and served there till his retirement in 1967. After my grandfather's death, my father was the respected patriarch of the entire family. I admired him for his scholarship and equanimity.

Rukmani (1918-1975), my father's younger sister Married to Chakrapani (1911-2001) They had three sons and four daughters, whose details are in next column.
