Dear Radha
Since my computer was down I saw your email only now. I want to share some things about vanaja akka.
She was a very innocent person and open-hearted lady. She was a good social worker. She used ask for help for others sake without any reservation. One incident I remember, when I was without a job she was calling each and everybody to get me a job. She never minded whether those people were listening to her or not. She also used to appreciate with big thanks any help she received. May her soul rest in peace.
With love
Rama (Ramamani, Vanaja's maternal cousin)
Dear Partha & Amritha,
We were shocked to receive the news from Amritha this morning around 11.00 AM about the demise of Vanaja akka. Akka's life had miseries and sufferings, but the silver lining being the two daughters Urmila and Radha. They really looked after her very well and without them akka would perhaps have left this world long ago. We were also pained to note that she suffered a lot during the last one week in hospital.
May her soul rest in peace and we pray to the Almighty to give solace to you all particularly Urmila and Radha.
With heartfelt condolences Raghu and Chandra (Sydney, Australia)
